Recently, I have been doing some freelance work with the QoL Foundation. They are a nonprofit organization that helps wounded veterans. Instead of having stock photos or models on their website they wanted images of the families that they have actually helped on their new and improved website (which should be debuting shortly). I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people that have sacrificed so much for this country and for their family members in need. What I didn't expect to happen was that I would be so inspired by each and every family and veteran that I got to meet. Though they have been through so much and are now faced with challenges everyday they still press on meet those expectations and do it with courage and hope. Here are a few of the families that I met whose lives have changed drastically due to injuries, but who continue to keep a positive outlook on life.
